Your data and models deserve the same protection as your infrastructure
Voltho works with business-critical energy, market, and infrastructure data. Therefore, information security is an integral part of our approach. From data storage and model calculations to access management and employees: we limit where data goes, who has access to it, and through which systems it is processed.
European cloud infrastructure
Our databases and models are hosted in European cloud environments. This keeps critical data and calculation models within a European data environment.
Secure business environment
Our central business processes and project information are managed within European ERP software. Access to critical systems is protected with individual user accounts and, where applicable, two-factor authentication (2FA).
No project files via Google
Google is used for email and calendar. Project files, datasets, and models are not exchanged or stored via Google Drive. This way, we consciously keep communication and business-critical project data separate from each other.
Employee screening
Employees with access to sensitive customer, market, and infrastructure information are screened in advance. Additionally, employees work under agreements regarding confidentiality and careful use of business and customer information.
Controlled
access
Access to customer data, models, and internal systems is restricted to employees who need this information for their work. This limits both external and internal risks.
Protection of models & IP
Our own models, source data, and customer information are processed within our designated systems. We limit unnecessary copies and external exchange of datasets and models.
We share market data. We protect customer and model data.
We build and enrich our own market data. Confidential customer information remains separate and is used solely for the relevant assignment.
